Fairy Tale Slippers

I headed into Exeter with mum recently to check out the new John Lewis store and pick up some Christmas bits and pieces. I saw these beauties in Office:

These are my first pair of flat ballet style shoes, normally I live in boots during autumn and winter then gladiators and wedges in the spring and summer. Up until now I just never came across a pair I really liked.

I was unsure whether to get a size 5 or 6, I am usually a 6 but I was walking out of a 6 in these shoes. The sales assistant told me to get a 5 because these types of shoes tend to have a bit of give in the back after a few wears.

These cost £20 from Office.

ooooh new shoes!

I had to pop into town to sort out some bank stuff and saw some very nice bargains along the way. I had some New Look vouchers from my birthday back in May and I hadn't seen anything which really took my fancy, until now. These new shoes:

These were about £24.99 but there was an offer on boots and shoes so I got these for £14.99, bargain! They are so comfy with just enough height without me feeling like I am about to topple over! The grip on the sole and heel is great too, I hate shoes that have a smooth sole because I feel like I would slip. These have decorative buckles and lace up at the front. I think they had them in brown too.

I had about £5 left of vouchers so I bought this stretch ring too.

Then I bought two Famous by Sue Moxley nail polishes as they were on clearance in Superdrug. I got Golden Plum and Sparkle Top Coat. They were £2.50 each.

I love a good bargain.
