Barbara Daly - Tesco Makeup

Doing the weekly shop I spotted a clearance shelf full of Barbara Daly makeup in Tesco. I picked up a powder and a gorgeous pink lipstick.

The lipstick is part of the cream colour range and is in shade Crimson. Full price was £3.50 but I picked it up for £1.75. The colour itself is a vibrant pinky red, it glides on easily and the colour is gorgeous.

Next up is the matt perfection pressed powder in fair. The compact comes with a puff and a mirror  which makes it ideal for popping in a handbag. The powder itself is lovely and light, it doesn't feel too heavy or cakey. I apply this in the morning over my makeup with a fluffy brush. It helps keep my skin matte for most of the day, I do like to touch up the t-zone as and when, but generally this is a good product for keeping shine away.

Stupidly, I peeled off the price sticker before writing this post and can't remember exactly how much I paid. However, I believe it was around the £6 mark full price and I paid around £3 for it.

Have you tried any Barbara Daly items? If you come across any in a sale I definitely recommend trying them!.

  2. I tried an eyeliner that was a real disappointment so I decided I would not buy any other products, but as your review is so complimentary I will need to try some other products.
