Speckled Eggs - New from Models Own

Models Own have released another nail polish collection. They have brought out several polish collections recently which is brilliant and what's more the price is still purse friendly. What more could you ask for.

Their latest offering is the Speckled Eggs collection which features five pastel shades. Each polish contains black flecks similar to a speckled egg. (Clever huh?) Dove is a pink shade, Duck is a cornflower blue shade, Goose is a light yellow, Magpie is a mint green and Swan is a lilac shade.

Each polish will cost £5 and will launch in all Models Own Bottleshops from March 8. They will ready to buy on the website from March 12 as well as in Superdrug shops. Boots will stock the Speckled Eggs collection from March 19.

What do you think of their latest range?

Maddy Holographic boots

I love my holographic nail polish collection which is rapidly growing. I am trying to get my hands on more of varnishes from China Glaze's OMG collection as well as the original OPI DS polishes.

When I came across holographic boots on Boohoo.com I had to snap them up.

How gorgeous are these boots? They are the Maddy holographic boots and cost £35 from Boohoo.com. I had never ordered anything from Boohoo before but I was pleased with my first experience. I bought these boots, some leopard print leggings and a waterfall cardigan.

The boots themselves are so comfortable, the chunky heel is sturdy and I don't feel like I will topple over. The bottoms of the shoes have good grip on them, perfect for the inclement weather we have had in the UK recently.

At rest, the shoes have a copper tone to them, but as soon as the light hits that unmistakable rainbow of colour you only get from a true holo emerges.

Urban Decay - Naked 3

I finally managed to get hold of Naked 3 by Urban Decay when I was on a weekend break in Bath recently. North Devon doesn't have a House of Fraser or a Debenhams, the closest stores to us are in Exeter and even then they don't stock Urban Decay products.
When I was in Bath I found a MAC and Debenhams counter inside their Debenhams which made me very excited.

Naked 3 is the third installment (funnily enough) from Urban Decay's Naked range. This palette contains 12 neutral eyeshadow shades and a booklet of samples of primer potions.

This is what Urban Decay had to say about their latest offering:

"Get ready to experiment with 12 totally new (and insanely beautiful) rose-hued neutrals all exclusive to this set. Choose from every finish imaginable.: Ultra-smooth mattes, gorgeous pearls and glimmering metallics.
From the palest shimmery pink to the deepest black matte with red micro glitter.
These neutrals will make you want to get Naked all over  again."

The set comes with a double ended crease and shadow brush.
The only downside of this set are the primer potion samples - I would have preferred a mini pot instead of pod samples which look like something you would get inside a monthly magazine.

I haven't used the shadows yet but I am a big fan of Urban Decay eye products in general so I have high hopes for this palette too. I picked up mine for £37 from Debenhams.
