Lucky Streak

There was a raffle during the South West Bloggers Meet event last month with some gorgeous prizes. Liza and Kerry, who organised the event, managed to get some brilliant goodies for the raffle including makeup, jewellery and hair tools.

All money raised from the raffle went to Talia Joy Costellos Charity.

I was lucky enough to win two prizes and I chose two pieces of jewellery:

The necklace isn't something I would normally wear but was really drawn to this design. I need to be more adventurous with my jewellery. I love the idea of plain jumpers and a statement necklace over the top. Jewellery can really change an outfit.

South West Bloggers Meet - Exeter - 2013

Yesterday more than 30 girls from across the South West hot footed it to Exeter for the South West Bloggers Meet.
The event was organised by Liza and Kerry, so firstly I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to both these girls for hosting a great event.

I drove down with Liza and Zoe who also live in North Devon and hauled massive amounts of pink goodie bags down the high street for the event which was held in John Gandys.

We took over the top bar and cocktails were on offer all day which was brilliant. The Exeter Lush team and Pearlys Ltd  were there doing demonstrations.
There were some brilliant raffle prizes, I was lucky enough to win two gorgeous pieces of jewellery. There will be a separate blog post about those. All money raised from the sale of raffle tickets will go to charity.

Everyone who attended the event was also given a goodie bag stuffed with products, again I will be doing a separate post on what we were given.

It was brilliant to meet so many bloggers from the South West. It was brilliant  to have an event people in the south could easily get to. So many blogging events take place in larger cities which are hard for us country folk to reach.

Have you ever been to a blogging meet up?
