Vinyl Record with Butterflies

I haven't played with my stamping plates in a while so I created this quick manicure. Two coats of Vinyl Record from LA Girls (one of my fav blue polishes sent from Nicole at Noir Lacquer in one of our earlier swaps last year) then stamping using Konad special polish in black and using the butterfly design on Art Deco plate A95.

I have used this polish in so many of my manicures, it is one of my fav blues, it applies so smoothly and the colour is so rich and creamy. I know this isn't important at all, but I love the shape of the bottle too.

I dig indigo

I forgot I had Barry M Indigo and I wanted to use something richer on my nails rather than my usual summery lighter shades.

I painted two coats of Barry M' s Indigo, I left the accent nail which I painted with LA Girls Vinyl Record. To finish I stamped with Konad SP in white using the leopard print design on plate M57.

I am so mad, I snagged a nail and it ripped right across really short and it hurt a lot! I have never been one of those "I broke a nail" kind of girls, but I used to bite my nails badly when I was younger and so it takes me a while to get all the nails long and strong. Now my one nubbin looks silly :-(

On a more positive note: I love these two shades together

Play that Vinyl Record in Cyberspace

I am so excited to try out one of the (many) Milani 3D Holographic nail polishes from Nicole. I have done a mani using Cyberspace on all my nails apart from the middle finger which I painted Vinyl Record from LA Girls.

Lovely shiny holo goodness! The polish applied really well, this is a more scattered holo effect.

I then applied the rose design from Konad plate M65 and stamped with Konad special polish in black.

I applied China Glaze non chip top coat over the design but it did smear it a little which is annoying.
