Real Techniques Core Collection

I was in need of some new makeup brushes and since Real Techniques products seemed to be a popular choice for many beauty fans I would give them a go. I ordered the starter set and the core collection.

For this post I want to concentrate on the Core Collection.

The core collection has a bronze coloured neck and contains four brushes for creating a flawless base. This kit contains a detailer brush, pointed foundation brush, buffing brush, contour brush and panoramic case/holder.

The detailer brush is small to help conceal any problem areas on the skin. This brush can also be doubled up to be used as a lipstick brush.

The pointed foundation brush is flat with a slight point which is great for applying foundation evenly and flawlessly.

The buffing brush is ideal for sweeping highlighter or blusher on the face.

What struck me the most first of all was how the brushes felt, soft, and easy to work with. Some brushes feel cheap and make your base or concealer difficult to apply, but not with these.

The collection also comes with a 2 in 1 case and stand which will come in handy for holidays and breaks away.

Have you tried any Real Techniques brushes? If so, what did you think?
