Marshmallow Blends - bathroom treats

I wrote a post on Nicoletta's new at home business, Marshmallow Blends, a few months ago when I placed an order. I was so impressed I ordered some more products.

This is what Nicoletta says on her website:

"Marshmallow Blends was created for all those sweet toothed ladies like myself who crave delicious scented body products with a twist.

Our Luxurious skin care products are packed full of gorgeous skin nuturing ingredients which will leave your skin feeling soft as marshmallows and smelling sweet.

Our mission is to make every single product deliciously perfect. Each and every item is made up in small fresh batches to ensure you get a quality product which is hand crafted with Love and finished with a sprinkling of fairy dust."

This is what I ordered:

I picked up Gold Dusted Mocha soap slice, Lovers Spell Cupcake soap, Strawberry Cheesecake soap slice, Mocha show fluff, Mint Choc chip bath bomber. I had to include a close up of the cupcake soap, how pretty is that?

I adore the scent of Lovers Spell (a Victoria's Secret dupe) I will have to hunt down the perfume. All of the soaps lather up well and the scent lingers for a while. I enjoyed using the shower fluff, the texture is quite unusual, but as the name suggests, it is light, airy and fluffy.

I haven't used the mint bath bomber yet but I will definitely be cutting this up to get more uses out of it.

The soap slices are generous so I will cut these into small pieces to keep in the bathroom.

Nicoletta is always busy creating new products at home and at the moment she has lots of Halloween and Christmas scented products.

Falmouth - The Shed

A couple of weekends ago I went to Falmouth with mum, it was great to have a break, eating, drinking and shopping. I went to uni there, graduated about 6 years ago, but I love going back for mini breaks once in a while.

One of my fav places to eat is right on the harbour front - The Shed.

King prawns in garlic butter to start with, mum had flat bread and dips. For main we both had steak with all the trimmings, washed down with a couple of fruity cocktails.

The Shed is a lovely place to eat if you happen to be near Falmouth in Cornwall. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is amazing and the cocktails are something else!

Fallen Leaves - the golds the coppers

I don't own many OPI polishes, the ones I have I picked up from Sallys on clearance. Diva of Geneva is what I would class as an autumn colour. It isn't a shade I normally sway towards but I think that is why I like this colour so much - it isn't like anything else I own.

Two coats of Diva of Geneva and one coat of Rainbow by Gosh - a gorgeous flakie top coat which I have worn several times.

I love the look of flakies over a dark base, they look like fallen autumn leaves - irregular shapes with a copper and gold sheen.

Stars For Audrey

I heard so many great things about China Glaze For Audrey nail polish that I had to try it out for myself. Like the name suggests, For Audrey is a Tiffany blue shade. Two coats was perfect and it dried fast. I stamped a snowflake design from Konad plate M59.

I haven't done anything to my nails in a while but I have some time off work at the moment. My new job as a trainee reporter is pretty full on and I haven't had the time to do the nail art I used to do. I need to get into more of a routine and make time.

How do you fit in 'me' time with a hectic work schedule?
