John Frieda Frizz - Ease Overnight Serum

I don't think I have ever done a hair care post on my blog before, so here we go! I was shopping with the other half in Tesco a while back and there was a 3 for 2 across all ranges of hair care products. So I picked up the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Overnight Serum (£7.39). I have never used a deep conditioning overnight treatment before so thought I would give it a try.

You just apply this creme all over your hair, I concentrated on the ends, before bed and sleep with it in, you then wash it out the next day. I liked the texture of this creme, it wasn't too runny and was just the right consistency so that it wasn't an effort to work through my hair.

Looks rather ominous in this picture!

My hair is naturally curly/wavy and this product did help smooth everything out and it did feel silky smooth. This is my hair before using the product in its natural curly state:

Then after using the product over night, washing it and straightening it:

It made my hair a lot more shiny which I love, but most of all I love the feel of my hair afterwards, that soft, tangle free feeling lasted a few washes too, which is a bonus for me. I am not sure if I would buy it every month without fail because I feel it is quite expensive, however as a treat once in a while, or if it was on some sort of offer I would pick this up again. It didn't leave my hair feeling at all greasy and best of all it didn't ruin my pillows.

  1. I completely agree with you, I love the way it makes my hair feel. I use it ever so often because it is kind of expensive. I try to use it a few times a week to maintain the softness hehe

  2. I might have to see if we carry that here. My hair has been pretty dry and damaged lately. :/
