I love DIY nail art, especially stamping with my Konad kit. However, as much as I love Konad it can take a bit of time, especially with clean up. Nail decals AKA nail tattoos can jazz up a manicure fast and there is no clean up afterwards.
These nail decals were part of a set which I ordered from Amazon. For less than £5 I got hundreds of sheets of different designs, some coloured, some packed with glitter and some were black and white. These black starts have a tiny silver gem in the middle.
I painted my nails with two coats of Barry M's Mint Green Nail Paint and let that dry. Then, using tweezers, I peeled the nail decals off the sheet and placed them in the middle of each nail. I finished the manicure off with a coat of Seche Vite's fast dry top coat.
With all nail art a good top coat is essential, it helps protect the design making it last longer. Applying nail decals takes a bit of patience as the process is quite fiddly, however it is worth it for a cheap at home manicure.
