During a Sunday #bbloggers chat I tweeted about the cult hairbrush line Tangle Teezer. I hadn't used one before but heard many great stories about them. I asked if they were worth the money and did they live up to the hype.
More than 10 #bbloggers replied, here is what some had to say:
@NicoleTopToToe yes! i've had mine for like a week and it's changed my hair completely xo
@NicoleTopToToe definitely, the only thing that can get through my hair! x
@NicoleTopToToe I've got a leopard print one that now stays in my bag, couldn't resist! x
With that in mind I thought I would give Tangle Teezer a try:
I picked up the Original Plum Delicious from Boots for around £10.
When I felt the plastic bristles I have to admit I convinced. I thought how could these flimsy plastic bristles brush through knotty hair, wet or dry.
However, I was surprised just how easily this brush got through my hair. Of course it didn't cut through knots in one stroke, but it made a huge difference. It didn't feel like it was ripping my hair and it didn't feel like an effort to brush through.
I can imagine this being a great brush for children to avoid tears and tantrums!
If you haven't tried this brush I would definitely give it a go.
I was pretty impressed with this brush too, can't believe it until you try it, right? ;) x
ReplyDeleteExactly! x
DeleteI love the Tangle Teezer im on my second one now as i lost my other one, its great because it stops damage to your hair where other brushes just rip through knots :) x

I bought a cheap replica from ebay and for something that cost around £1 I'm totally amazed at the job it does, so I can imagine the real thing being super impressive! x
ReplyDeleteI had a mint green one a couple of years ago but I gave it away - I really didn't work for my long thick hair x

I'm a tangle teezer virgin! I've never been convinved that such a thing could ever brush through knots without damaging hair. I may have to invest in one just to see as I do suffer from serious knots as I have such thick hair
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to meeting you at #southwestbloggersmeet! :D
