17 Does A Holo

I was on Twitter when I saw the UK makeup brand 17 have brought out a silver holographic nail polish...

The Boots exclusive brand is selling this for £3.99 - I haven't been able to venture into town yet to see if I can find it.

I wonder if we will start seeing more holographic polishes making an appearance...

Wonderland - Models Own - New Collection

Models Own are on a role, they have released yet another nail polish collection. This one is called Wonderland and consists of 5 glitter polishes ranging in gradients of glitter.

From suble shimmer to dense glitter, it seems this collection has something for everyone. The polishes are: Jack Frost, an iridescent soft sparkle in a translucent cloudy base, Snowflake which is a transparant mixture of white and gold flakes, Southern Lights which is an opaque holographic multi-tonal glitter in a lilac finish, Northern Lights, a fine holographic multi-tonal glitter with a pink finish and finally Blizzard, a heavy micture of hand cut glitter pieces. Phew!

Anyone else get excited with the holographic particles here?

This collection is launching across 250 Boots stores in the UK and Ireland now. It is also avaiable at Models Own Bottleshop in Westfield London as well as on the Models Own website from Friday October 12.

What do you think of this new collection?

Bath and Body Works Buys - UK

No, sorry to disappoint, I don't mean the American fav Bath and Body Works is coming to the UK (though I hope they will). I mean I have ordered some more products from the Bath and Body Shop.

I have posted about this website before after Bicky from Tastes Like Glitter told me about it. It is a website where those of us based with in the UK can get our hands on some much loved brands from across the pond. Bath and beauty products such as Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, Slatkin and Co, ESOS as well as NYX, and Bomb Cosmetics. Here is what I ordered recently:

Bath and Body works pocket bacs, antibacterial amazingly scented handbag sized goodness. This time round I bought Vanilla Buttercream, Noir for Men, Strawberry Cupcake, Simply Rain and Black Cherry Merlot. Each of these only cost £2.10 from the website and they last ages. I first got into these from my swap friend Nicole over at Noir Lacquer. When I discovered I could buy these myself I was over the moon. They all smell amazing and leave my hands lightly scented, also because the antibacterial gel isn't as harsh as the Carex/hospital gels we get over here, they don't leave my hands feeling dry.

Then I picked up Love Spell Eau De Toilette from Victoria's Secret. I first became hooked on the scent after using Nicoletta's Love Spell inspired soap (here shop is Marshmallow Blends, she hand makes all her own soaps, bubble bath treats and lotions, she is also a UK blogger.)

Having used her soap I had to track down the perfume itself, this cost £10 from the Bath and Body Shop website, not too bad at all. I really like this scent, a little goes a long way. It is quite sweet, so I am careful not to spray too much because I think this could be a little sickly if used heavily.

Have you used this website before? This is the second time I have ordered off them, I ordered on a Monday, my parcel arrived on the Wednesday. Fast shipping makes me happy.
